Happy day.

This is Amir and her wonderful wife Mrs Amir @Nining. Do you guys remember those time when we play netball. :) Nining with her flipping two hands "STEPPING" foul signal on me always. Amir being the phsyco Coach who plays Center and me the hmm.. what was i?? GK or Ga?? Anyway I really enjoyed during the time when we are all together as friends. Time flies.
This is their wedding day. Such a beautiful couple, a wonderful wife and a wonderful husband blessed with one beautiful son Iman. May you guys live peacefully and may Allah bless you always.

Chicken Feet anyone?

I managed to come back home and had lunch with dad. Here are some rare dish being served in the house just for today. Let me tell you something, Of all delicacies, the ones that i cannot get into my system is this one:


CHICKEN FEET!
"ping pong balls". just in case you wonder, I dont know who smuggled it onto the house. Its all boiled. ........shshshs... :)
I tried once before (Chicken feet) but eiew. Its not like its not tasty, its just the thought of it. I can take on Petai, Jaring, Durian, Salted fish, Belacan. Only my dad eats it in the family. Please do not order chicken feet when ur having dim sum with me. :)
I didn't do much today. I just went out to make quick check. The chefs made asian, chinese and malaysian theme buffet today. "IKAN Asam Pedas" = fish with spicy sour gravy. Its regarded as the most popular malaysian dish for a fish.

Sunday tomorrow. DST carnival at Jerudong park. Don wants me to come over. I might just go. Someones arriving tomorrow. Sigh. I did catched up with the argentina vs ivory coast match early morning. Damn.... 6 - NIL. I think the odds for england winning the world cup will be up. Say from 50 - 1 to 100 - 1?? Overall It was a brilliant performance.
Anyway I met up with my Amir yesterday. It surely was great to see him again. We reminis a bit. We used to be so close througout his bachelors day. I can never forget you man. He's very rare and happily married to Nining with one kid. Thanks for the thoughts brother, i really appreciate it. Got me enlightened. See..... What are friends for. hmm I dont know if i kept ranting to him everyday? :) I guess Im ok. Im just missing someone badly right now.

Egg).
4) Garlic crumble tofu with salad.
5) Nasi Goreng Bilis Batu Ampar
6) Rendang Potato Fricasee
7) Steamed Fish with 'Spicy sambal' Hollandaise
8) Chicken pate Otak otak Rolled with seaweed
9) Lamb Cutlet with Fresh Mint roasted Garlic Sauce

Dinner is served...

Spinach Fettucine with gourmet salad and tomato sauce.
I had spinach fetuccine with tomato sauce. I love those gourmet salad. Its a mixed leaf of Frisee, Andive, Lamb's lettuce, baby spinach. Didnt go out today. Spent all day at home. Haidi called me up this morning, she's promoting her beauty Salon (Lemonadenan). Besides manicure, perming , stuff, Guess what, She also set up blind dates for women and men. hmm.... I still have to find out more though. She's been asking me if i can help gather single guys for her. HA! I see what i can do k Haidi. Anyway good luck on your business. May it be successful. I coudn't ask for more. I think ive successfully made it. With extra care n patience it would eventually come through. Sorry Mi, lambat tadi. Let everyone judge. Let me just tell you, Saidon's friend Jonathan comment "Awesome, it taste exactly like Marks n spencer's Chocolate" Im not saying anything.

kiss and make up guys..

Loughborough Fettucine with Cheddar cream Sauce, with Salmon, sauteed Funghi and gourmet Salad, topped with Egg york.

I made this recipe for someone very important. No, she's not Italian thank you. It was not planned and made this simple dish in Loughborough, so thats why i call it. I chose salmon coz it has its very own taste. Funghi is mushroom in Italian word. Mushroom grows naturally. Those beautiful mixed gourmet salad represent freshness. Fettucine is a flat Kway Teow like pasta made from semolina, and of course the egg comes from a Hen :P. it doesnt have any meaning but just try it!

Recipes:
Half pkt Fettucine (Hua ho or Soon Lee) Read the instruction first!
2 medium slice Salmon Fillet
150 gm Cheddar Cheese
150 gm Cream Cheese
10 gm Fresh Mushroom
1 dollop Double Cream hmm 150 ml would do
1/4 pint Fresh Milk
2 Egg york
1/4 bunch Fresh English parsley
1-2 drops of Mixed Herbs

Slumber Method:
Wash your hands
Boil Fettucine with a pinch of salt, once cooked mix chopped English parsley then set aside.
Sauteed (Stir Fry) fresh mushrooms.
Use Gridler or any non-stick pan then cook the salmon, Skin down first. (saja!)
Washed your Salads

Sauce:
On a Low Heat, Pour little butter, melt cheddar cheese and Cream cheese in one go, add some milk, do not stop stirring until even. Turn off the heat n swirl heavy cream in. tsk tsk tsk, yea i know. baik jogging.
You can always use flour to thicken it. Salt and blackpepper to taste.
Then do your own Presentation, Impress your love ones. Enjoy!

Rack of lamb. Who likes LAMB? In malay it's call "Bidai Bidai" some parts of the ribs. I decided to upload this gourmet for its unique touch. That yellow pudding look-alike is Veal terrine. The chef uses Oats for crumbles. Oats is good on its own, i dont really like mixing oats with main course. Oats suits well with desserts.

Terrine = Layered.

I totally forgot all the basics about html. Funny how I got merit for web publishing exam during Uni time. Mi looks like I need a hands on pratice with you. I want my layout lawa jua. HA! o well...
Mimi's on msn now, she's having Chicken Cordon bleu.
Crodon Bleu is a place somewhere in France. I dont really know what is it famous for. One thing im sure about its the cordon bleu Cheese. lets hope the recipe is authentic. Speaking about authentic, the pros n cons of being a chef is that u basically know how does the food taste like. No short-cut recipes for me please. Therefore, it really sucks when you know some ingredients is missing. SO its KOLO MEE for me!

Went to coffeezone, had some quick tutorial session with mimi. Now i get to know the real concept of blogging. Had some smoked salmon and avacado salad. Its ok but it would have been better if they had some gourmet salads like rokets and andive.
