The Bachelor's trip to Singapore


It was on saturday night (31st May 2008) at Newton seafood Palour. We made a point to which we cannot miss this place. It's all about the famous Singapore spicy Indian mutton bone marrow and chilli crab. There were 7 of us on the trip and that night was just great.


Here it is, Spicy, tangy, RED, tender suckling bone marrow with little meat.

We were about to dig in.


Sometimes you just need a straw. Traditionally, the bone marrow is being suck straight from the mouth. I guess the excitement was to suck the jelly inside. The other method is to knock the bones on the plate as this will make some noise. The goey bits will then come out. The important part of the dish has got to be the sauce. Served well with baguette. I can't describe more. If you happen to visit Singapore ask any taxi driver where you can get the best "Sup Tulang" or "Sup Ketok" as they call it in Malay. (Mutton bone marrow).

Half way through the meal... we ordered some grilled tiger prawns, Clams, B.B.Q Stringrays and veg.

that bone marrow stew..kitorang panggil 'Bone Steak'..paling best yg tulang kambing tu lahhh..mmg makan guna straw cecah dgn baguette, mmg terangkat lah

me makan bone steak ni pun kat singapore gak.. masa belajar kat UTM skudai dulu selalu pegi singapore..dekat je kan JB dgn singapore
